Portal for a Painter

Paulina Freifeld, Mexican painter, asked us to give her more light in her car garage turned painting studio. With possible larger plans for expansion, we asked to just do two small moves first, and then see how the building and the site responded to it. She readily agreed, and gave us the opportunity to install two Pedro Reyes designed windows, or portals. They are small openings, to the surroundings, in an attempt to not lose placefullness.
